The Faculty of Medicine is a part of Lund University, and is responsible for education and research within medicine and healthcare. Our research spans a broad field within experimental preclinical research, near-patient clinical research and health sciences research. At the Department of Health Sciences, we work to increase knowledge about how people can recover and maintain their health. We train all categories of future healthcare and rehabilitation staff within first, second and third cycle education. Our research focuses on aspects of health: prevention, therapy, healthcare, social care and rehabilitation. Our activities in Malmö and Lund are closely linked to healthcare at Skåne University Hospital and primary and municipal healthcare.
