LUT Business School is looking for a junior researcher (doctoral student) in business-to-business sales to strengthen its sales research team.
We are seeking a curious mind who is eager to create novel insights on how businesses can succeed in international competition sustainably.
You must have a university master’s degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., international business or industrial engineering and management) and the ability and motivation to complete the doctoral studies within their normative duration (i.e., four years). Written and spoken proficiency in English is required. We will expect you to write a dissertation on a research area such as personal selling, sales management or sales digitalisation. In addition, you should have basic knowledge of international business (or another relevant research field).

Employment relationship and pay
The work will start in June-August 2024 (negotiable) with a six-month trial period. The job is based in Lahti, Finland. The typical gross annual starting salary for a junior researcher is approximately 32 500 euros (plus a holiday bonus in accordance with the collective agreement).
