University assistant without doctorate (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Writing a dissertation at the University of Graz in the area of Civil Law
• Participation in research projects of Prof. Steininger
• Conducting of and participation in courses
• Participation in project funding applications
• Participation in examinations and supervision of students
• Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures

Your Profile

• Completed diploma or master’s degree in Law with above-average success
• Good knowledge of Austrian Private Law and associated areas
• Excellent German language skills (written and spoken)
• Very good English language skills (another foreign language desirable)
• High interest in scientific work and interaction with students
• Competence in evaluating the performance of others
• Didactic competence
• Very good IT skills
• Communication, organization and teamwork skills

• Letter of motivation and academic CV in German
• Complete proof of completion of the degree program required in the call for applications
• Proof of the language skills, required in the curriculum, if the doctoral program is not completed in the first language.

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.865,40 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
