The Dresden International Graduate School for Biomedicine and Bioengineering (DIGS-BB) is a structured PhD program of the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD). It is dedicated to first-class research and doctoral training of talented students in a wide range of interdisciplinary fields:

  • Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology
  • Bioengineering and Biomaterials
  • Biophysics
  • Regenerative & Degenerative Biology
  • Biochemistry
  • Computational Biology

The DIGS-BB was founded in 2006 as part of the successful application of the TUD in the German Excellence Initiative. Besides offering ambitious research projects, the PhD program puts special focus on a strong mentoring strategy and an intensive advanced training.
