At the Institute of Logic and Computation, in the Research Unit of Databases and Artificial Intelligence (192-02), TU Wien is offering a position as University Assistant (Prae-doc) limited to expected 4 years for 30 hours/week. An extension to a full-time position (40 hours/week) from third-party funds of the Institute is possible. Expected start: December 2024 The research work will be concerned with using knowledge graphs and graph technologies to bring meaning to large amounts of heterogeneous data, enable novel perspectives of analysis, and make data and results accessible. Of particular interest are scalable support of knowledge graph evolution, provenance, data integration, exploration and analytics, quality, and the combination with LLMs.
Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade B1 of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 2,684.10/month gross, 14 times/year for 30 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
